Issue: A mandatory laptop program raises numerous questions. Implementing a system where students are required to purchase a laptop faces as many challenges as the number of majors at SDSU. Laptops are essential to college life for many students at SDSU. Increasingly, students live constantly attached to their computers.
When a friend of mine considered helping a stranger who listed a potential moving job on craigslist.com, it dawned on me that the vast majority of college students are feeling the pressures relating to this financial crisis. Now that the $700 billion bailout is in motion, I cannot stress enough how important fiscal responsibility is for both the young and the old.
As a senator representing the College of Arts and Science, I want to bring to your attention a policy that Sen. Ryan Stee and I have been pursuing here at SDSU. Last spring, we presented and passed a Students' Association Senate resolution in support of establishing a Good Samaritan Alcohol Policy (GSAP) on SDSU's campus.
Shoes are the icing on the cake for an outfit, to give it that extra oomph or admiring glance. Now, I am not talking stilettos, kitten heels, ballet flats, Dockers, sandals or cowboy boots (and the list goes on), but tennis shoes. Yes, I did say tennis shoes.
Hobo Day weekend … holy cow homecoming. I find myself smiling as I look back at the past weekend. A sea of college students wearing SDSU's trademark blue and gold surrounded me. I will admit that the students of SDSU definitely know how to have a good time.

I probably said, "When do we leave?" He then told me that our high school friend, Jimmy McKinney, was the director of the marching band at Iowa State University and we should go and visit him and see his band.
