SDSU defeats the Ladies record-setting demeanor
The 100-plus blow out sets the SDSU Division I record for points for a women's team.

The SDSU women's basketball team routed Centenary 105-46 on March 1 in Frost Arena. Five Jackrabbits scored in double figures as SDSU broke its record for points scored during its Division I era.
The Jackrabbits won their 11th straight game, while increasing their home winning streak to 21 games from last year.
SDSU built a 10 point lead in the first four minutes and never trailed. A few early 3-pointers from Ketty Cornemann and Jennifer Warkenthien helped spark the offense.
The Jackrabbits went on another 10-0 run thanks to a pair of Andrea Verdegan 3-pointers that extended their lead to 37-13. Verdegan went 3-3 from 3-point range in the first half.
Centenary struggled in the first half with turnovers, with 11 giveaways compared to SDSU's five. Anne Farrell had six points for the Ladies as they faced a 54-21 halftime deficit.
Early in the second half, after a Cornemann 3-pointer, the Ladies went on a 7-0 run thanks to baskets by Karoline Zaloga and Ashley Jackson that put the score at 57-28. The Jacks quickly bounced back and kept the game out of reach with baskets from Maria Boever and Macie Michelson.
SDSU extended its lead to 66-31 after a Kristin Rotert 3-pointer. The game was the Jackrabbits' from there. Head coach Aaron Johnston was pleased with his team's effort and expects that they will keep it up over the remainder of the season.
For the game, Boever, Rotert and Warkenthien led SDSU with 14 points each. Verdegan and Cornemann both added 13 points for the Jacks. Ashlea Muckenhirn, Courtney Grimsrud and Laura Nielsen all added eight points for the Jackrabbits.
Verdegan also had five assists, while Warkenthien grabbed six rebounds and had four assists. Boever and Muckenhirn each grabbed four rebounds and three assists.
Zaloga led the Ladies in scoring with 13 points; she also had three assists and two rebounds. Farrell had 11 points, six points and one assist. Bethany Joseph chipped in six points, two rebounds and one assist.
The Jacks shot 59.4 percent from the field and 45.8 percent from 3-point range. The SDSU defense held Centenary to 36.7 percent shooting and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Centenary gave up 22 turnovers compared to the Jacks nine.
With the win, the Jackrabbits improved to 22-6 overall and 15-2 in the Summit League. Centenary fell to 4-23, 1-16 in conference with the loss.
