For the first time Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls will host a SDSU football game this Saturday.
If you venture down south to catch the game, you could easily make a day of it. The state's biggest city is no Minneapolis, but it still offers a vast array of things to do on a Saturday.
Bars
For the 21 and older crowd, Sioux Falls features a wide variety of bars.
If you're looking: here are some of the bars around town:
Bogey's Bar and Grill - 815 S. Marion Rd.
Borrowed Bucks Roadhouse - 3609 S. Western Ave.
Nitwit's Comedy Club - 431 N. Phillips Ave.
Nutty's Pub and Casino - 3400 W. 49th St.
Shenanigans Pub - 4001 W. 41st St.
Shooter's Pub - 2309 W. Madison St.
The Sights
The Washington Pavillion, located in downtown Sioux Falls, will host Sphere Factor Saturday on Oct. 8, with a slide show at 10 am and other activities starting at 11 am.
One of the many museums found in Sioux Falls is the Old Courthouse Museum. The painted ceilings on the second floor are something to marvel at and the rotating exhibits on the first floor usually offer interesting information, accompanied by authentic models in display cases.
The two steeples of St. Joseph's Cathedral can be seen from several locations in Sioux Falls. Decorated with stained glass windows and wall-carved scenes from the Bible, the cathedral shouldn't be missed out on, no matter what your religion.
The Falls, the namesake of the city, has been remodeled in recent years, and now offers a great view of the city. Take the stairs or an elevator to the top of the lookout tower, and you will be treated to an amazing view of the city.

Sioux Falls has three different movie threatres to choose from. Two of the more popular theatres are: the Century Movie Theatre and West Mall 7.
The Century Movie Theatre is located right off I-29 at the 26th St. exit. Century, the largest theatre in Sioux Falls, shows all the new releases.
