Dining services don't fit the students' needs

The Issue: Food service hours are short and quality is low. Lucinda's View: Dining services should be open longer and food should be better prepared. The last three years I have attended SDSU, the dining services, and more particularly the dining hours, have not impressed me.

A person's style should be considered with an open mind

I am writing in regards to Christina Hoeck's Fashion Dos and Don'ts article in the Dec. 6 issue of the Juice. In her article, Hoeck says for some it's a hit-or-miss situation and they go from laid back to the DON'T section of a fashion magazine. It seems to me that what she pointed out as DON'Ts seem to all be either farmers, cowboys or people who love the great outdoors.

It's OK to marry at a young age

Why do people get so upset about people getting married at age 20 or 21? Is it because they really feel left behind, but are too proud to admit it because they have always put their school and career goals ahead of everything else? People act as if getting married is condemning yourself to a lifetime in prison.

Many marriage factors should be considered

The author of From Parents' House to Husband's House has decided to attack the lifestyle of myself and the many others who live in the Midwest and marry at a young age. We have certainly seen societal changes which have resulted in two observations that the author pointed out: Average marriage age is 27 for men and 25 for women, and the infamous 50% divorce rate.
