Carson Powell, a 21-year-old former SDSU student, died Oct. 11. Powell was found at a residence on the southwest corner of Lake Goldsmith, just outside Volga, S.D. Scott Sebring, Brookings County assistant sheriff, said the Brookings County deputies responded at approximately 3:43 p.m. Powell’s family asked that the details of his death not be disclosed. [...]
