USA promotes democracy as the model for … well, everyone
Democracy is not the final solution. Such words are often regarded as heresy in this, the “Land of the Free.” If you think about it though – really think about it – democracy is little more than the most popular kid in school right now. She certainly has plenty of friends and plenty of enemies.
SDSU is diverse but it doesn’t show it well
One of the things that surprised me when I came to SDSU was the diversity. I expected a little farm university with nothing more than conservative, Christian farmers’ kids. What I found was a fair bit more, although not quite what I’d like to see. Politically, there are people here from all across the playing field.
Smart school producing ‘smart people’
Imagine a high school where there are no books. No blackboards. Where all students carry laptops instead of backpacks and have appointments with teachers instead of classes. This is the high school that Microsoft designed and built in West Philadelphia. The 750-student school isn’t your average school.
President Bush not all there
The Bush administration is a failure, and approximately 65 percent of America realizes this. Yet, it astounds me to find people on SDSU’s campus who still are ardent supporters of the Texan regime. As such, let me offer a few facts for the readers. Education.
