Postponed – Pi Tau Sigma offers rides on giant teeter totter

This event has been postponed until April 27 due to snow.

The SDSU chapter of Pi Tau Sigma, International Mechanical Engineering Honor Society, has built a teeter totter that is almost 26 feet long. Sponsored by Daktronics and Larson Manufacturing, the group designed and built the teeter totter for a fundraiser. They will be selling rides for $1 a piece from 10am to 10pm on April 20, 2011. The group also held penny wars between faculty and staff members of the Mechanical Engineering Department to determine which four professors will ride it for 15 minutes each. The teeter totter will be on the east side of the Union all day, providing weather cooperates. Please feel free to stop by, take pictures and get a ride.
