On March 29 at 8 pm, South Dakota State University will be taken to Hollywood thanks to the University Programs Council.
The SDSYou Video Contest will be displaying the works of SDSU students in the Fishback Theatre in the PAC. The night will also be an awards ceremony with five entries winning $75 and one fan voted Best Picture earning $200. The five panel-judged categories are comedy, acting, special effects, artistic and advertisement.
Students are encouraged, but not required, to attend in their awards ceremony attire as there will be a prize awarded for the best dressed attendees.
Video submissions are being accepted until Wednesday, March 23 at 5 pm in the UPC Office (Union 140). All submissions are accepted provided that they are kept clean, in a .mov format and 5 minutes or less in length.
