Regents approve planning for another residence hall and dining area

The Board of Regents approved to begin planning a new residence hall and associated dining facilities.

This preliminary planning includes two neighborhoods on campus: juniors, seniors, graduate students and transfer students in the northwest, and freshmen and sophomores in the southeast.

Jack Warner, executive of the BOR, said that “approval of this phase of the Master Plan stands alone, and does not indicate support of future phases identified in the plan.”

A building committee will be created to move forward.
