Big Jackrabbits collect toys for Little Jackrabbits

Little Jackrabbits attending preschool and kindergarten in the Fishback Center for Early Childhood Education at South Dakota State University will benefit from larger Jackrabbits on campus through a drive for playground toys.

UPC will collect gently used or new playground toys through Friday, March 4.

Eligible playground toys include basketballs, soccer balls, jump ropes, ring tosses, 4-wheel scooters and any toys appropriate for 3 to 6-year-olds. Toys can be dropped off at donation boxes in The Union or Wellness Center on campus and Pius XII Newman Center, University Lutheran Center or United Ministries near campus.

Megan Pavlow, community service coordinator for the University Program Council, can be reached at 605-688-6173 for more information about the drive.
