Service Learning Showcase allows students to share experiences

The 75-100 students will be showcasing posters and PowerPoint displays that incorporate what their service-learning experiences have been this semester, and what they have taken away from those experiences through reflection.

The showcase will take place Tuesday, Dec. 7. 3-5 p.m. in the Volstorff Ballroom.

The service learning showcase is an opportunity for students and faculty participating in service-learning in their coursework to come together and share their experiences with each other and the general public.

This showcase gives faculty the opportunity to gather new ideas about service-learning for their own courses, students the ability to see which courses and professors provide them with the ability to continue in service-learning, and community partners the ability to forge new relationships with our faculty.
