New center to enhance diversity across campus

Various programs on campus work to increase diversity and the new American Indian Education and Cultural Center puts us one step closer. SDSU Native American students now have a place to call their own. The new American Indian Education and Cultural Center, located in the former Telecommunications Center on Medary Avenue, has been decades in the making.

PRT brings ?Leaving Iowa? encore to South Dakota State

Walker performs with the South Dakota Symphony

John Walker, SDSU’s Patricia Noethe Pierce Distinguished Artist in Residence, will play a monumental, Johannes Brahms’ piano concerto with the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Good Samaritan Alcohol Resolution passes 27-1

SA advocates helping others without hesitation or fear of undergoing legal punishment. Students’ Association passed a resolution supporting a statewide “Good Samaritan” alcohol law that would exempt people under 21 from criminal punishment if they contact authorities to help another.
