Fall trips offer students options

Do you want an opportunity to get out of Brookings?

Weekend STUFF and UPC are both offering trips to SDSU students who wish to take a break from campus on the weekend and travel.

Sam Jacobs, graduate assistant for university programs, said he thinks students should be aware of these opportunities.

“These trips are self-explanatory,” he said. “Students should definitely take advantage of them because it can be a lot of fun to get out of Brookings for a day.”

Coming up on the calendar is a trip to the Valleyfair amusement park on Oct. 17. Also planned for the future are trips to a Viking vs. Lions football game in November and the Mall of America in December. All of the destinations are in Minnesota.

“I love the stuff that we’re able to provide for students,” Jacobs said. “What we do is a lot of fun.”

Students interested in signing up for one of these trips should watch for posters around campus soon.
