Concerts on same night make students choose

Two nationally known bands are competing for student’s attention. On April 28, nationally recognized bands Hinder and Augustana are both traveling to Brookings. Hinder will be playing at the Swiftel Center, while Augustana will be performing on SDSU’s campus at the Performing Arts Center.

Par-3s doom the SDSU men’s team at the Stevinson Ranch Invitational

The SDSU men’s golf team finished 11th in the Stevinson Ranch Invitational on April 6 to 7 in Stevinson, Calif. The event was hosted by the University of Colorado at the Stevinson Ranch Golf Club – a 7,142 yard, par-72 course. The Jackrabbits shot a three-round total of 899 (306-294-299) and finished 30 strokes behind the winner Nevada.

Jacks snap five-game losing streak, go 3-3 in home opener

The SDSU baseball team opened their home schedule splitting a six-game home stand against North Dakota State and the University of North Dakota on April 17 to 20. The home opener was a rousing success, as the Jacks pounded the Bison 19-0 to snap a five-game losing streak.
