Musician shows off unique multi-talents

On Nov. 14, Dominic Gaudious is performing in Jack’s Place at 7 p.m.

Gaudious is an instrumental six- and 12-string guitar player who also incorporates instruments as the Australian Didgeridoo.

According to his Web site, dominicgaudious.com, his latest CD titled Life Worth Living features 13 tracks and came out in 2006. His songs are a mixture of classical, jazz, rock and world-beat.

“We were looking for something new and different for students to experience,” said Jodi Wuttke, the acting programming advisor for the Multi-Cultural Affairs.

He has preformed at events including the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, National Geographic and the Australian Embassy. He is compared to Eddie Van Halen and Michael Hedges.
