Despite having pre-season second team all Summit League Jennifer Warkenthien out of the line-up due to an injury the Jackrabbits managed to defeat UC Riverside in a very intense 93-90 double-overtime victory at Frost Arena on Nov.11.

Junior Maria Boever hit a turnaround jumper to send the game into the first overtime with the score tied at 84 a piece.

In the double overtime session sophomore Ketty Cornemann hit a three-pointer to give the Jacks a 91-88 lead. The Jackrabbits (2-0) would not look back; it was the first overtime game against a Division I team.

Brittany Waddell scored 22 points for the Hillclimbers (0-2) in the losing effort.
