Jacks secure first conference win

Ariy-El Boynton

At Coughlin-Alumni Stadium, SDSU’s football team made a huge statement by beating Great West Football Conference foe Cal-Poly Mustangs 48-35 to improve their record to 4-4,1-0 in the GWFC.

SDSU took a 7-0 lead 16 seconds into the game, courtesy of an Adam Monke 91-yard kickoff return, which gave the Jacks momentum and an early lead that they would never give back.
