WNIT game to be shown in The Union

Staff And Wire Reports

Due to limited seating in Frost Arena, the third-round WNIT game featuring South Dakota State and the Indiana University on March 22 will be available for viewing on a projection screen in the Student Union. Game time is 7 p.m.

“We want to include as many people in it as we can ? It is more than an athletic department event. It is a university event, a state event,” head of promotions Micah Grenz said.

Coverage will begin at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday night and will continue through the post-game press conference.

“It is a fantastic opportunity for students,” Students’ Association President Alex Brown said. “With this historic WNIT berth, we have a great opportunity for students to be a part of it … It is great for the university as a whole.”
