Jacks fly past Southern Utah for seventh win
A balanced attack and a never-say-die attitude kept the Jackrabbit football team tied for first in the Great West Conference. Under an overcast sky and despite a brisk, shifting wind, Andy Kardoes passed for 190 yards and two touchdowns to lead South Dakota State to a 31-21 win over Southern Utah on Nov.
Flags’ soars as high as any war flick can
War films have been a huge genre since the advent of cinema. With any popular genre, moviegoers are regularly treated to a variety of big-budget films, from greats like “Saving Private Ryan” to movies that got blown to bits “Pearl Harbor” style. Most recently, Clint Eastwood’s “Flags of Our Fathers” marched to the box office and consequently won a victory for the majority of critics, including me.

Stick with choices you make
In these times, nothing is permanent. I’m going to say it again for dramatic purposes: Nothing is permanent. Nobody is forced to stick with any decision they make. You can have a tattoo removed. You are encouraged to repent for your sins. Abortion cures pregnancy.
Jacks for Life deserve voice
The petition to put Referred Law 6 on the state ballot on November 7 was submitted so the people of South Dakota would have an opportunity to express their views on this issue. He is acutely aware that he is, at this moment, engaging in a world he never existed in so well.
