Who will be our new leader?
The pool of SDSU presidential candidates continues to narrow as Peggy Gordon Miller enters her last semester as university president. The presidential search committee is currently conducting background checks on a selected group of candidates, and will soon narrow the group further to candidates that will be interviewed by the South Dakota Board of Regents.
Not Soon Forgotten
At 21, former Caldwell Hall Resident Assistant Karmen (Gregory) Lafrentz was in the midst of a life some only dream about. She had recently married Michael Lafrentz, her high-school sweetheart and an RA in Pierson Hall. She was looking forward to a year’s study in Spain.
Sixth Street construction rolling to finish
South Dakota State University students will be greeted by the ongoing construction of Sixth Street, as the crew enters the final phase of the project. The project began in April and everything has been on schedule, according to John Ritterhaus of the Department of Transportation and director of the construction crew.
