The Spill Canvas concert review

Lucinda Albers

The Spill Canvas played at the Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, April 6 thanks to the Music Industry club.

The audience was enthusiastic with quite a few younger faces. Although the PAC is mostly seats, many onlookers crowded to the front of the stage to watch the energy up close.

Opening band, Goodroad, was a perfect opener for the Sioux Falls original band. All of the musicians interacted with the audience as if they had known them forever.

The lead singer of The Spill Canvas danced to his own beat and acted shy and somewhat pre-pubescent on stage, but performed very well. His obviously awkward stalling during technical difficulties was amusing to most, in a very down-to-earth, yet hyper show. If they come near again, don’t miss it.
