SDSU for the ages
This year SDSU is celebrating its 125th anniversary and to commemorate that, many are taking a look back at the history of the university. Having existed for 125 years, much history has been cultivated on the campus of SDSU.
Best four years’
After visiting with several SDSU graduates about their experiences at SDSU, I realized that SDSU students have changed little in 125 years. Although the SDSU environment is drastically different (one building on campus has grown to over 80 buildings), students continue to pull pranks, work hard, and study.
Jammin’ at the alley
BB and the Bullfrogs performed Friday night at the Prairie Lanes Bowling Alley to a good crowd, despite the bitterly cold winter night. “We’ve been wanting to get a 50s and 60s band for a while” said Les Nelson, one of the owners of Prairie Lanes. “Even with the weather, it was a good turnout ? Now that people have heard them, they’ll spread the word.
Jacks lay it on the line
Jack’s Place was packed Wednesday night, but not because people were hungry. SDSU Originals was in full effect once again. SDSU Originals is an outlet for guitar players, singers and other talented students to perform their songs and show off their talents.

The Issue: SDSU has kept the same atmosphere as when it first started While getting ready for this special issue of the Collegian, I was doing some research on past SDSU events and memories. I picked up several old yearbooks at the library to help me grasp the past.
Headline spelling error taints SDSU reputation

Many ‘love to hate Bush’
Some people love to hate Bush. They go about talking about half truths and straight out lies to get their point across. I would like to point out a few things that these people miss. Education is not guaranteed by the constitution. Defense of American value is.
SDSU e-mail addresses a hassle, useless
I have used the Internet for a long, long time. So long that Thursday, Feb. 23 will mark the tenth anniversary of the registration of nesson.com, my family’s domain. Ten years ago Thursday will mark the day I left my first e-mail address, ben@iw.net, behind and moved on to the primary address I have used ever since.
School of champions
South Dakota State University has had multiple teams and individuals win national championships have gone to SDSU. Forty-nine individual titles and 11 team championships. The most decorated team in school history is the cross country team. The men have run to six championships while the women have won two.
