Students’ Association approves two budgets

The Students’ Association (SA) approved special allocations funds for the SDSU Collegian and the SDSU Advertising Club at the April 25 meeting.

An allocation fund of $1000 was approved for the Collegian. The funds were approved for the Collegian to hire a consultant to help resolve the newspaper’s debt issues.

The senate approved $1600 for the advertising club. Renee Halgerson, president of the advertising club, said the funds were requested in order to take eight additional team members to the national student advertising competition.
