Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Dangerous has many of the same elements as the first movie, with a few of the same characters.
Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) is re-introduced into the movie as a Miss USA runner-up trying to get back to her normal routine of fighting crime as an FBI agent. After a mission went wrong because someone recognized her, she must decide between sitting in an office doing paperwork or becoming “the face of the FBI”.
