Student Showcases brought back to SDSU

An amalgamation of student projects will be shown at the Performing Arts Center during the Spring 2005 Student Showcase on April 21 at 7:30 p.m. Dormant since the early 90s, the Student Showcase was brought back last fall as a culmination of the students’ semester projects.

I saw a magnet the other day that said “Moms! Not all superheroes wear capes.” Finally someone has figured it out. In society we make movies portraying super-strong men and women with the abilities to lift buildings, dodge bullets and save the damsel in distress at the end of the day.

Recently there has been discussion that NFA 232 could stay as Java City, in addition to another bigger Java City opening in the new University Student Union. Assistant Dean of Student Affairs Doug Wermedal said that NFA 232 would have to undergo some renovations in order to permanently become Java City.

Abortions should be legal Responding to Dan Harders’ editorial “Crosses Portray Murder” published in the April 19 issue of the Collegian, proclaiming that abortion is murder, is a purely irrational and misleading statement, but more on that later.
