German Club selling chocolate advent calendars

The German Club is currently selling chocolate-filled Christmas calendars.

Each calendar is $2.75. They will be sold in the Larson Commons breezeway between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 22 to 24.

They can also be bought in NFA 105, the office of Jason Owens, assistant professor of German, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. For more information call 688-5538.

Bookstore to hold annual sale

The University Book Store is hosting its annual 20% off sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1.

Students, faculty and community members can do some early Christmas shopping from the vast selection of SDSU T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and imprinted gifts at the bookstore. Office and school supplies will also be on sale.

The bookstore is still located in the University Student Union with a new entrance on the south side of the building.

Seniors to display artwork

Seniors Melissa Christensen and Audra Markwed, both visual art majors, will exhibit their work at the Ritz Gallery in Grove Hall.

The exhibits will run Monday, Nov. 23, through Friday, Dec. 3 at the Ritz Gallery in Grove Hall. The gallery’s hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information contact Diane VanderWal at 688-4103.

Art Museum to exhibit photographers’ career photos

The South Dakota Art Museum will present a photography exhibition entitled “Jerry Uelsmann Photography” Nov. 23 through March 13, 2005.

The exhibit will showcase selected photographs produced throughout Uelsmann’s career. All of Uelsmann’s work is created in a darkroom.

The South Dakota Art Museum is located on the SDSU campus. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. For more information, please call the Art Museum at 605-688-5423.
