How to avoid a parking ticket

The University Police Department’s Web site offers the following tips to avoid a parking ticket:

- Stay out of reserved places- Avoid parking in faculty/ employee parking lots- Park only in assigned area/lot- Stay out of service vehicle or handicapped spaces- Limit parking to 20 minutes in designated areas- Always hang parking decals when parked,- Avoid parking in yellow zones- Limit parking to two hours in the designated areas- Follow meter instructions
