Front desk hours change in hallsThe front desks in each residential hall lobby will no longer be open 24 hours a day like they were in previous years.
The front desks will be closed from 6:30 to 10:30 every morning, said Sue Sandberg, associate director of education and staffing for residential life.
She said most students are at class or sleeping during that time and don’t use the front desk much.
Residence hall front desks will be open 24 hours a day for the first week of school. The new hours will start on Saturday, Sept. 4.
