Animated films are a dime a dozen. It seems these days that as soon as a studio turns a profit with an animated movie hundreds of sequels are immediately thrown into preproduction. That’s why it’s so very special when an original and heartfelt cartoon graces the silver screen.

Miracle is the kind of movie your dad would like. It’s got plenty of sports, some nice moments of male bonding, Kurt Russell and an ending he already knows. He’s not going to be surprised and he’s going to get some hockey action. All in all, a win for him.

Reading through Roxy Hammond’s column last week, I could not ignore many of the blatant grammatical errors. I had to wade through numerous fragments, comma splices, improper uses of punctuation, a lack of parallelism, and poorly chosen diction to try to figure out what you were saying.
