The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) is a beautiful 19.6 million acre preserve in the north of Alaska. Along the Arctic coast, ANWR has one of the largest undisturbed wilderness areas left in the United States. ANWR also has significant untapped oil reserves.
