Women’s Golf Takes Second


The SDSU women’s golf team took second at the Augustana Invitational Saturday.

The team finished at 341, two strokes behind leader USD with 339 at Willow Run. Augustana came in thrid with a two-day team total of 366.

The Jackrabbits placed five of their players in the top 10, with sophomore Lindsey Brown leading the team as she tied for second place with a two-day total of 83.

Sophomore Kelli Endahl came in fourth with an 84 and Arin Adamson came in sixth at 86.

Senior Jill Murra tied for seventh at 88 and Kelly Evans tied for ninth at 89.

The men’s team finished up play at the Northwest region Head-to-Head today in Hastings, Neb. Final scores were not available at press time.

Both the men’s and women’s teams will finish out the fall season by competing in the North Central Conference Championship in Sioux Falls next weekend.
