Column in poor taste

I read the article “Call me Dr. Hook” by Rocco Tschetter on page 15 of the September 16 issue of the collegian, and was wondering what this is all about.

#1. I was under the impression that the Collegian policy prohibited profanity and vulgar language.

I feel that if this applies to people writing to the editor, or other articles, then it should apply to the people writing for the Collegian as well.

#2. Despite the fact that this is titled Weird fiction, I fail to see any educational value in it.
