What’s Old Is New Again

The term “garage rock” is big. New groups like the White Stripes, Hives, Vines, Strokes, etc. are all labeled “garage.” They’re in fashion magazines and pop-culture regards them as cool.

There’s only one problem: they should have stayed in the garage longer and learned to play better.
