The SDSU Jackrabbit softball team started their season with an 8-4 record as they participated at the Road Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Florida over Spring Break. The Jacks led by the performance of freshman pitcher Meggan Staton, who threw two no-hitters and a one-hit shutout as she earned five wins for SDSU.
Jacks baseball challenged on early spring road trip, struggle to 1-9 mark
The SDSU baseball team traveled again to Missouri for this weekend’s games. The first game the team played was on Friday against Emporia State at the MIAA Challenge Tournament in Warrensburg, Missouri. The Jacks ended up losing the game, ending with a score of 13-9.
Jones leads wrestlers to fifth in NCC tourney
Tyler Jones successfully defended his NCC Championship as the SDSU wrestling squad placed fourth at the NCC Wrestling Championships on March 2 and qualified six wrestlers for the National NCAA Division II Championships this weekend in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Indoor track ends at good pace
The SDSU indoor track season concluded this past weekend in Boston, as seven Jackrabbits earned All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships. “This was the best NCAA meet our teams have had since I began,” head track and field coach Paul Danger said.
