We must learn to have humility

Jeremy Hamilton

As I read a recent issue of the Collegian, it occurred to me that there is a decided lack of humility in the world today.

Step into the midst of popular culture, glance in any direction, and you will make the same observation. Humility is a rare commodity today. Many people want nothing to do with humility. And many of us who desire humility find it as elusive as a good night’s sleep on a Greyhound bus.
