Legislature worked hard for our citizens in session

The greatest task facing our legislature this year was balancing the budget. Our state’s constitution requires a balanced budget, and the legislature succeeded, in part because of Governor Rounds’ proposal to increase the tax on cigarettes and some mobile phone calls.
