Pay attention to the power of ideas
Since people started thinking about it, they have disagreed heartily among themselves over what it is that drives society. Some find the answer in religion, others in science. Some focus on politics, others on economics. Freudians seek explanation in the id, the ego, and the superego.

I’m going to be honest with you here. There weren’t a number of gay people in my hometown of Armour, S.D. Sure, you heard the rumors and conjecture that those two ladies who lived together were lesbians or that lonely old man loved men, but Armour never had a gay pride parade (though I think everyone would have had a lot of fun).
You think we have it bad? Then you should see Indiana!
Last week in Indianapolis, Indiana, a man died on the interstate at approximately 6 p.m. The gentleman in question was reportedly hit by an 18-wheeler, a pickup and at least six cars. He was standing in the middle of the road facing oncoming traffic. Sounds like an open-and-shut case to me.

For the first time in many years, both candidates who are running for Students’ Association president are over-qualified for the job. There are no campaigns being waged by those who don’t have the experience necessary for the job. There are no campaigns being waged by those who would treat the job as a big joke.
Animal Science polling location changes
The Students’ Association has moved the polling location in the Animal Science Complex for its SA Senate elections this week. Instead of voting at Animal Science, students may go to Medary Commons to cast their ballots. The move was made due to building access concerns arising from remodeling work in the building.
