Sewrey lectures to be held in Union


The 2003 Charles L. Sewrey Faculty Colloquium will be held Feb. 19-20 at several South Dakota State University Student Union locations. The daily presentations, intended to promote discussion about academic ideals in relation to faculty experience in the classroom, will be held in the Campanile Room (169). The daytime lecture are free and open to the public. For specific speakers and times call the College of Arts and Science Dean’s Office at 688-4723.There will also be an evening banquet on Wednesday, Feb. 19 in the Walder Room. Joseph White will deliver his lecture “Why is Fatherhood at the Top of the Nation’s Agenda?” Tickets are $15, and include a 6:30 p.m. chicken kiev dinner following the 6 p.m. social hour. Tickets may be purchased in any dean’s office on campus.
