Faculty panel to discuss Iraq war

A panel discussion on “War and the Humanities” will be held in room 103 of the on-campus Northern Plains Biostress lab on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.

The faculty panel includes Mary O’Conner and Mike Keller of the English department, Ann Marie Bahr of the department of philosophy and religion and John Miller of the history deptment.

The event, sponsored by Alpha Alpha Chi and the SDSU chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, an international English honor society, will cover writers and war, the philosophical and religious implications of war, contextualization, and war’s influence on diverse groups.

The discussion is free and open to the public.
