The South Dakota State University men’s golf team finished in a tie for eight place at the Irv Kaiser Invitational September 12-13. Senior Brian Schultz, of Le Mars, Iowa, led the Jacks in the 36-hole tournament hosted by North Dakota State.

Volleyball ends 2-1 at NCC/NSIC Crossover
The South Dakota State University volleyball team recorded its first defeat of the season in a match against Minnesota-Duluth Sept. 13. The second match of the NCC/NSIC Crossover proved a difficult one as the Jacks fell in five (30-23, 30-19, 25-30, 26-30, 15-13).
