Good: Frat parties. For those upperclassmen and grad students, remember the days (before the UPD Nazis came to power) when you could go to a frat house, drink your fill of beer for less than $10 and go home with someone whose name you didn’t remember? Yeah, those were the days.
Good: These hot April days. Sigh. Now if only we wouldn’t have to be subjected to the fish-belly white legs of the majority of students, all would be perfect.
Bad: Having to shell out four bucks to attend the the choir’s spring concert. Sure the music was outstanding, but four bucks?! Now we aren’t going to able to buy toilet paper for like a month.
Good: Total energy consumption in the U.S. outweighs that of France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Japan and Russia combined. Wow. Those countries really need to start sucking down the BTUs if they intend to compete in today’s global market.
Bad: The Jackrabbit Yearbook using last year’s Collegian photos and not giving credit to the photographers. Please make sure that never happens again. Oh wait, that’s right, there isn’t going to be a yearbook anymore. See what happens when you don’t give credit where it’s due?
And the unattractive: We’ve said it many a time before: the high schoolers who come to campus remind us of prison inmates (or zoo animals) who have been let out early for good behavior. We know that many current students are quite attached to the little demons. However, until the mini-monsters learn to act like humans and not do obnoxious things like playing hackey-sack in front of rooms where classes are in session, they should not be welcomed on this campus. Can you tell that the state FFA convention is here again?
