Drowning in debt
Karla Jonas is apprehensive. As she sits in the break room at her full time job, she is uncertain as to why anyone would want to know about her experiences with credit card debt. Her story is not necessarily new or unique. She graduated from SDSU in May of 1999 with a degree in Family Consumer Sciences and with a debt record that could have been easily managed, had there been job opportunities in her chosen field.

A few years ago, if a student had said the College Agricultural and Biological Sciences was struggling at SDSU, he would have been right. Today, however, the program is making a turn around. The college could still use more students, said Chuck McMullen, the interim associate dean of Ag-Bio academic programs.

I had slim-pickings when I choose my new review for this week, but when I saw “Legend of the Red Dragon” starring Jet Li, I thought that this one should at least be interesting. Interesting, it was. Exciting–not really. Entertaining–occasionally. Comical, definitely.

Music Review
Thank goodness for Bad Religion. Thank goodness for things that do not change. Thank goodness for whatever anarchist Viagra keeps these old men from souring and wimping out like Metallica. In case you did not know, Bad Religion is one of the few surviving punk rock monsters from the 80′s.
In our humble opinion…
Good: Valentine’s Day is coming up in a couple of days. It’s really great that people across the country can celebrate a whole day devoted to love. If you’re into that “love” stuff.
