On Jan. 7 in London, Lee, known by many as Dick, will be awarded the Freedom Forum’s Administrator of the Year award to celebrate those accomplishments.
Kwanzaa celebration becoming more known
Celebrations, especially during this time of the year, are generally religious and have been practiced for ages. Kwanzaa, a seven day celebration of African culture, is neither of the above. Kwanzaa runs Dec. 26 until Jan. 1 and its foundation is built upon principles of modern day living.
Students keep on track over break
Now that the semester is winding down, students are looking forward to having some time to relax and work out. Yes, many are going to continue to stay in shape over Christmas. Of course, this selective group can be seen frequently at the HPER or just working out on their own around town.
